Umm.. how long have we had a report bad thread button

I notice that htere is a little triangle warning sign type thingy in the upper right hand corner of each users post (in the bar above location). I experimented and found out its a button to report a thread/post

Not to be dense but Uhh.. how long ahs that been there?

Hmm... maybe this should have been in friendly, ahh but it effects everyone so I thought ok to put in talk.

its a pretty standard feature so you can report people that are breaking the rules or blantantly insulting members

In that black bar - next to the post number (not on your own posts though, can't report yourself evidently)

Excuse me? A) you really don't have any authority to tell me what to do or not do. B) I didn't think it was useless. It brought up a feature that some of us obviously were not aware of, as the thread title stated I have no idea how long it has been there but it is an added feature. It further served to satisfy my curiosity. It did not insult, flame, or in any way harm any other member of this board. I don't recall seeing as a moderator or owner to this board so if you find it useful or not I really don't care.

PS - Smiley, this is a smiley, I intend that as nicely as I possible can.

Edit: BTW... what other useless threads? Posts.. sure I figure I have a couple thousand useless posts, but threads?

                    ok
maybe not a lot of useless threads
but useless posts are basically the same thing

and i can tell you what to do if i want to, but it depends on you if you want to do it or not
so consider it a suggestion and it's ok if you don't take it
but i strongly advise u to

and did i say u flamed?
nope, just that this thread is useless
                    who cares.......
if people haven't noticed the feature....o well
i'm sure people that want to know can figure it out themselves

what's ur intention anyways.....more post counts?
i'm not accusing you of anything, but it sure seems like it

Its not more post counts - I make a lot of posts, some more useful than others but I have a reason for each of my posts - granted sometime its a shallow reason, but it is not post count. And I didn't really say you flamed. To me as long as a post does not attack, harm, or discourage another member (I'm sure there are other things there that could be added, but you get my point) than it probably serves some value to someone. Maybe not. But as long as it is in the general guidelines of the community does it really matter? We can remember that we don't have to read every post, and my title was pretty descriptive of the post was it not?

                          ok fine
u have ur reasons, although very frivoulous ones

and since ur question is answered this thread can now die

btw, isn't this in the wrong forum anyways......?
