Allrigty folks,

I would like the honest truth. what kind of consistent Ball per Second numbers have you gotten with a mechanical mag?

I have an 04 cocker and I really want a RT ULE or a Tac One...

I am going to be spending about 300 on a Q-loader and Compressed air system regardless.

I know the X-valve is capable of firing up to 26 bps...but I want to know how fast you guys actually get.

Also...this may seem Like a stupid question...but does anyone know how fast the fastest commercially available paintguns are?

I.e. an Angel, Bushmaster, etc...
I hear about 30,40,50 BPS...but I wonder what is accurate.

On the Q-loader's website they brag about their loader pumping out 31 BPS with an X-Mag...and it looked awesome...
I want to know what to expect out of a RT ULE or Tac One.

The PGI Osiris has been tested to hit 38, but the fastest gun without paint is gonna be a Spyder rigged up to full auto (Not that anyone wants that). I can hit decent speed with my Mag, but I have ULT (No definite speeds yet, can't sound analyze at the moment). I own both a RT Custom amd a GX-3 with a hinge frame, and the Mag is DEFINATELY the better choice. The XValve can handle up to 43 is what I read somewhere (On AO, mind you)...

Really anything over 20 bps who cares because we can't go that fast. I know alot of people brag about going faster, but I have never seen it. Unless you have some type of ramping system it will never matter. I do know that one of the nasty shockers ramping broke 36 bps. This was with a Halo with victory board, and the marker sputtered some from not gettin enough balls according to a Tech I trust.

my ule custom is fast...everyone says its rips...with stock on/off it can bounce its way easily over 20+...with my ULT I can get 15+ but it is set up a little bouncy. As for an x-mag going 31...that did not happen on eletronic mode...the noid can only go 20-22ish...but with a stock on/off the mag can shot WAY faster...i think what you saw was this.

Fastest electro is probably a Viking w/ newer 'niods, in the ballpark of 35+.

Fastest Mech would be most any Blowback @ 40+.

Fastest a Mag can go regardless, right around 34-ish.

How refreshing. Someone being honest about BPS. Just the other day I had a kid telling me he could hit 17 legaly on his mech mag. I just smile and nod.

Good rule of thumb about BPS: 99.9999% of the time when people talk about BPS, the P is silent. It's just BS.

I personally have hit like 16 bps X 200 rnds no problem with my bushmaster 1st shot as accurate as the last - it is said that the 2003 is capable of 36 cycles per second but at that rate what hopper can keep up with it? I'd like to go faster but hoppers are too slow, maby a warp is in order.

My RT Pro with a ULT... eh... about 8 or 9.... Fast enough that some people wonder if I have an electronic frame from time to time but not fast enough that everyone assumes that's what I'm using.

my ACI maverick pump gun : 5 bps over the chrono. and thats trying pretty hard.

my classic mag with single trigger. : about 7 or 8. not sure. havent tested it over the chrono yet.

my TES with lots of ups : with a revvy i hit 16 bps for a second over the chrono. i dont know how, but i did.
dry-fireing it : i have no idea but its really fast. i dont walk it, i twitch my finger, and i'm guessing its about 18-20 cps.

I have seen 9 BPS over the chrono with my Mag, that's the fastest I've ever tested at.

I'm pretty sure I can get a little faster than that, a week ago I found a technique of holding the gun that allows me to fan the trigger much faster than normal but I have not tried that over the chrono yet.

I'm also pretty sure I can only keep that up for a few seconds at best. It does not work when I'm moving or adjsuting my aim, the way I have to hold the marker prevents much movement while I using this technique. It is also very tiring on the hand although maybe 20 years of computer work and the attendent damage due to repetative stress takes a toll on the hands that helps cause that.

i checked my bps ona chrono and i hit 14 a few times with my intlliframe and x valve, granted it is only a spike but i can keep up about 10 with out much problem
