Wow things have changed since I have posted here. Tom is now gone and the forums seem to have newer people. Well anyway I am getting back into paintball after a 2 year rest. I was thinking about getting a mag but unfortunately I bought a max-flow tank that may be low lp. The gauge shows a max pressure of 700 psi (though I have not tested to see if the tank can go that high or higher). I believe mags need 600 to work but the reactivity will be slow. I was looking a tac-one with the trigger adjustments for 525 but then when I look online I can buy an Evil pimp for 550-575 from an ebay store. So the quest is which one do I go for? Note I want to play alot of rec and some speedball but I am worried about the tank I have.

As for your tank I think you can get a highpressure sping kit. Not 100% on that might want to look around on the web it.
As for the Tac vs Pimp.
This is how my 14 yr old puts its.
Dad everyone has a "Insert gat name here" no one around here has a mag, thats why I love mine.
And then there is the all super things about the mag its self, lvl 10 is a god send and the x-valve rocks, get a ule trigger so if you want to upgrade to the ptp trigger you already have some of the parts. Go with a mag
