?? Classic RT Mainbody ??

Has anybody every modified a classic RT mainbody to fit a regular classic mag body rail? Would it work?

I am not sure, maybe in the tech forum you could find someone who could tell you how. but I have never heard of someone doing it. The way I know to start on that mod, is the redo the sear, and make it work.

I saw someone with one on an emag once. All you would have to do is figure out there to wack the back off so a normal valve would fit.

Yes people have done it before. Like Wicked said all you have to do is cut off the back of the RT body so that it ends at the same place the normal bodies do. If you do a search you should find a few of them around.

I modified a Minimag body to fit on my RT. I moved the pim (the nut that is on the body) to match the RT rail. So if you knew how to braze and didn't care about messing up the finish on your body it can be done.
