are you talking about thickness or just metal length?
      I did my own
$30 black and decker dremel+about 3 to 4 hours of cutting using the cutting discs, and around 10 discs+1-2 hours of sanding the cut places and sanding the body+like 20 at a local body shop to prime, spray, and clear coat your mag, plus the heat finish they do=1 totally awesome 1 of 1 milled custom mag

or you can talk to luke

I mean thickness. Just by looking at the front of the body you can see how much excess metal there is. Id rather not do it myself cus im not good at that stuff lol. Ill try and get ahold of luke i guess. Anyone else have any suggestions?

i was gonna have the sight rail/sides shaved off of mine as well as getting some "ule" milling.

i figd they be really light buy my micromag body weighs more than my karta+ feedneck + rail

--i havent found anyone to do this yet but i ahve seen colin(dw) custom milled micro and it was very nicely done.

there are/were pics here but the thread mysticly dissapeared

But...why ruin a perfectly good micromag?

i wouldnt say ruin it...my personal thing was going to be a ONE of project.BUT

i found it would be cheaper to have an alum block cut to my specs than to ahve a microamg made the way i wanted to ..so thats what im going to do ..

il probly sell mine..or keep it around for a future project
