    AGD pump kits

Why wont AGD realese a pump kit for the automag

i know you can "jerry rig" one by browsing the internet and eBay for a few months to get all the parts but why not sell one that's ready to install???

i'm sure the demand is there, all we're missing is the offer...

AGD did sell WHOLE kits YEARS ago. The have NOT been made for YEARS hence the discontinued part and the reason why its hard to find the parts needed. Just suck it up and find a kit and throw it together yourself. With the exception of the milling for the pump slots in the current bodies and rails, the kit is a drop in mod.

There were problems with it pinching paint, and not too many people bought the kits, so it was dropped, I believe.

Isn't that the story of AGD's life? Besides the dropping part...

I'd buy on if they can out. I dont really feel like watching the net for months when AGD could make and sell easily.

Maybe it wasn't cost effective. It still isn't. The majority of pump players today use phantoms. It's kind of expensive to build a pump mag compared to just buying a phantom, and it won't be able to compete with a phantom. The phantom will be lighter, better on air, and cheaper. Because of being a gas hog, you really can't play stock with a pump mag either. 12g's + mag = not good.

AGD is not going to spend money on something that wouldn't make any money.

The main market for the pump kits would be people that are Automag fans, not pump players. Even if they mean't it to be for pump players, many of them would enjoy something different.

Right, but how many maggers would buy them. Maybe not even 50. That wouldn't be cost effective.

I'm sure more than 50 would buy them.

I guess I shouldn't have used "sure". I just belive there would be more then 40 people intersted. The price would be the biggest factor in the amount sales.

It would be just like everything else that every one screams and cries to have and when it's available, no one buys it.

Pump kits arew not that hard to come by. Just buy one.

no problem, find one!!!! they're not easy to find....

for those saying they would'nt be cost effective......

                              pump handle...35$?
                              upmp rods......2$?
                              fancy spring.....5$?
                              other parts......7$?

                              total 49$.......sell everything for 100$, thats 51$ profit per kit sold x let's say 50 buyers = 2550$ of profit....that's pretty good.
