Well, when you guys are bored, what do you guys do for some fun paintball games?

well me and my friends play 'civil war' paintball. We split up to 2 teams, and we have about two thirds of the people playing on one team and 1/3 on another. The team with less people has a flag about 20 feet behind them, and the team with the bigger amount of players tries to capture it. The fun part is we take off our hoppers, and we have to reload 1 ball at a time, like the real civil war dudes.

What do you guys do?

Some other ideas that we had were zombies(if you play zombie panic youd understand) where the zombie has like a pump or no hopper and every time he hits a 'human' the human joins the zombie and the humans either get a flag, or try to survive until a timer goes off.

what we did was called last man standing. you split up half and half and stand about 50 feet apart from eachother. You take turns shooting eachother until one wants to stop or runs out of paint and air. We also played one where there was 2 people in a bunker with holes so they could see out, they were more or less inclosed and had a flag, the other team could not go within 10 feet of them and for the people in the bunker loader and gun shots didn't count. so the people on the outside had to shoot them through the hole (2 refs, one outside and one in the bunker so you can't wipe and have to call yourself out) it gets really fun too, but you ahve to be careful.

"Secret Service" One guy wears an orange vest and plays the President. One team's objective is to escort him across the field, the other team tries to take him out.

"Showdown" Two sides line up about 30 feet apart. Nobody can shoot or move until the game starts. About half are eliminated immediately. Pretty fun.

3-team capture the flag. Each team has 2 flags. To win, a team needs one flag from each of the other teams, along with at least one of their own. Works with lots of players on a big field. Played this on New Year's day 1995 on Okinawa. The first game lasted about 3.5hours. The second lasted only about 50 minutes (one of our hunter teams took out a flag carrier who was recovering his own flag and had captured one of theirs).

i once played a pretty crazy (but fun) game with my friend. its a one on one type game where we both get to use marshal shields. (the large round black kind that you strap to one arm). only head and body hits counted as eliminations. Limbs and marker hits didn't (unless you couldn't take it anymore and just surrendered out of pain).

the trick was not to waste your ammo too fast cos reloading pretty much meant you were dead (unless you were fast and nimble enough to keep dodging/blocking). once we figured that out, there was a lot less shooting and a lot more manouvering, running and trying to circle round the other. note that this was played on a flat open space with no obstacles...

"Kick the Can" paintball style :

Capture the (center) flag except when someone get's shot they go back to thier start side,counts to 30 and re-inserts. No elims, always 5 on 5 or whatever,never slows down....basically "Ultra Speed Ball".


"Reinforcements" :

Great when there are too many players for a feild. Start 2 on 2, then every 30 seconds OR have a bystander call out at random intervals, you send in additional players one or 2 at a time (depending on how many you have total) and repeat till everyones in. Everyone plays but it doesn't get crowded and you never really have the field under control. Quite fun.


Variations on capture the Flag:

Have a certain number of players per team unarmed.They only play as flag handlers and runners.Also good when there's too many people for a given field.

Hopper ball, of course.

Worse than hopper ball, use 10 round tubes. They will fit vertically right into the marker,although loose.

"Velo Drop"... everyone chronos at like 200. No more 'longballing'.

i really like playing hopperball on a airball field with 6v6 or 8v8. that really makes paint last!!!

To make it more fun you should plug the feed neck and load the balls from the end of the barrel using a squeegee or something

ha those are some crazy ideas. Came back from school today, first things me and my friends did were go out to my friends backyard, and we told him to run across the whole yard while we were pelting him with paintballs. It must've hurt but you have no idea how much fun it is. plus the adrenaline kinda takes away the pain

On a speedball field. Put the guns in each respective team's deadbox. Start the teams at the 50, backs to each other. They have to run to their guns at the sound of the whistle.

Alamo:
Team deathmatch
Two teams of proportions kind of like 2/3 or 3/5
The defenders(texans) have limited paint, less people and have a secure area(we use a hill with bushes and sandbags all around the top
The bigger team(spanish) can only get within 30 ft of the "alamo"

just have your friends stand in a field and pelt them like 15 times or more. i now owe someone money for this. he got shot like 16 times.
