    X/E-mag battery question

would it be possible to use 2 x 9v rechargeable batteries in series to power X/E-mag?

providing it can be reduced to the 16v or whatever the normal battery pack is...?

just thinking on getting my X a little lighter on the front end

Nope, not gonna work unfortunately. The amp draw from the solenoid is too high, you'll kill the batteries in no time.

there are some new style 900mah 9v's that are about...
that makes them 1.5 x on the current supply compared to the stock battery, would they work?

You can try them, but chances are they're still not going to last too long and they're not going to be able to supply enough current when shooting faster

I've got to wait another 2 weeks for my X...

so after then, I'll "have a play"

          thanks for the input though!
