    My New Ion

Bought from www.punisherspb.com and I had them install the NDZ aluminum trigger.

You're silly. The Ion doesn't need any upgrades. I just got it like an hour ago. All I'm getting is a Freak back for my kit and a nice drop. Oh, maybe a HALO B.

I'm not sure what to say...I don't want to tell you to upgrade anything...umm...Just love it for what it is, and try not to sell it.

Nice ION. I have a blue one myself. Nothing special on semi but crazy fast on rebound. It's a lot of fun to shoot on either mode. When PTP's frame comes out, I'll have two machine guns.

true, it doesnt need anything. but a new feedneck, barrel kit, and trigger sure make it look alot nicer.

I had a HALO awhile ago for my Angel, I sold it. The NDZ trigger is awesome! I have no air, but the solenoid clicks like mad!
                  Definatly getting a Freak back.

Definitely get a halo. New grips always look great on them.

MAG ION side by side pictures ???

After only shooting mag since 1993 (mini, rt-pro, emag, hyperframed mini, Ule Xvalve, Ule Xvalve Y-grip), I almost feel like I am cheating...

I ordered a yellow ION from Punishers yesterday!

Anyone got any side by side pictures...

Could you take the ION shell and cut a hole for the air and use it as a mag valve cover???

I have recently had the chance to get the feel for an ION, while they are undoubtedly light, they are also very lopsided feeling with a full HALO. The one I fondled last weekend was a standard setup, no mods other than a really bad homemade paintjob(i prolly could have smeared crap on it to make it look better) It had a 68/4.5K screw insetup on a raildrop, i found it to be very top heavy and unwieldy for my taste. I do have to say that the kid shooting it did say that he liked the Bushy he traded for it better, he to didn't like the lopsided feel of it. If I get a chance to actually play a few games with one, my view may change, but as it stands, I won't be buying one, simply because i don't think it will fit my playing style or comfort level. Afterall, isn't that why we try all these different guns, and setups in the first place?

A nice drop would help balance it, all you drop nazis STFU and don't start.

i put a unimount on mine and have no problems with it feeling unbalanced or unstable at all.

feels a lot like a mag to me.
