Vlbow plastic.. brittle?

mine cracked when i first put it on. I tightened it by hand, not very tight, but it cracked. It was just a small crack.. Untill i put it down with paint in the hopper, then it turned to a big crack. Duct Tape worked but it looked ugly, so i put on some deadly Gorrila Glue. I'm afraid of that stuff. Well the duct tape will always work.. you know the saying.. if you can't duct it, forget it.

I would get a new one but i am very, very poor.

I have a $50 certificate to my overpriced paintball store, maybe i'll get one there. I'm gunna start saving for a new barrel soon though.
