                While it doesn't line up along the body rail, it should be easy enough with CAD software to adapt this body to a mag rail. Once you get the body off of the ION, it really starts looking like a mag...

                That is the stock feedneck... Tall and not a clamper... there are options though:
                Pretty much any barrel or feedneck for an Impulse will fit. There is even a SP Freak Kit that is painted flat black to match the gun...

                    Ion = money pit

                    IMO, I think it's best to keep an ion close to stock form. Barrel, feedneck, trigger. Aside from that, if you keep putting money into it you really could have just bought another gun that has everything you want. If you tell me that's not possible, yeah it is, buy used.

                            Won't know for sure untill closer to relase date (mid May).
                            Projected to be anywhere from $100 - $125.
                            Unanodized option will be somewhat cheaper.
