New they run, roughly $700 to $750 for a Vision model... if you know the right people, abotu $800 if you don't. Last used Vision I sold I sold for $400"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. Its not" - Dr SuessComment

I think Shockers might be "the deal" going right now.
On ebay I see many NIB 04/05 Shockers with the Nerve Rebound board with some else for around 730-790.
That something else has been a free Halo B Rip drive, Free Clear Evo II Y, $100 dollars towards anything for you shocker including hoppers and tanks, free case of paint you decide what kind to, and a free 68ci 3000psi tank.
Good gund for good prices.I'll have to take it out to dinner and a movie first. Will it go see AVP?

I have seen dealer prices for vision shockers for about $680. It's amazing how much money they can make on them.Originally posted by Lohman446New they run, roughly $700 to $750 for a Vision model... if you know the right people, abotu $800 if you don't. Markup in paintball sucks. As a general rule markup on product to cover cost, investment, overhead, etc should be about 30%. From $680 to $800 isn't even 20%. Where it looks like a lot of money, in standard business models, its not overly impressive.Originally posted by minimag03I have seen dealer prices for vision shockers for about $680. indeed. When looking at things relativly, the mark up in the paintball world is peanuts.Originally posted by Lohman446Markup in paintball sucks. Our local guy charges 10% on what he pays for markers. He is happy with the profit because of the volume he can sell. I think he has Ions for about $235 nib right now.Comment

I was given the chance last year to be part of a field. There was an initial investment of course, which I had a source to cover my share of. I turned it down... as much as I love paintball, and would love to eb part of a field and a store... the business model that paitnball has become simply sucks. Yuo give your biggest spendors discounts that eat into your already marginal mark-up, you're advertising budget (sponsorship) is horrible as far as return in investment, yet its expected and you can't afford not to. I marvel at how people make a livign in the game, I wish them all the best, but realistically, the business model of todays paintball sucks.Originally posted by SpecialBlend2786indeed.
