    battery question/ gripe

since i've decided to keep my emag. i picked it up and wanted to revolve the warp. i turned on the switch and nothing. the fresh batteries i newly placed in were dead.!?! freakin, thats what the on/off switch is for. saving battery, and nope. after 4-5 days leaving them in (OFF) they're dead.

and on to my question. people w/a 12V modded warp. do you leave 'em in? can i use rechargable batteries? can i use rechargable AA's in my halo? where can i use rechargables and where do you reccomend i dont.

You can generally use Re-Chargeables anywhere, just get a charger and make sure that they are high quality.

Not all 9 v batteries put out 9 v. Check the packaging and buy the batteries with the highest output.

It isn't a bad idea to take the batteries out, just because if you leave them in for an extended period they can leak and do all sorts of nasty things... A good habit and no trouble is worth the 5 seconds it takes to put in two batteries.

well if your batteries are dead and you havent play'd with them and you have the on/off switch installed then I would say either you have relaly crappy batteries or your on/off switch wasnt put in right.

I think what he meant is depending on the setup of some internal pins the warp will only work with an electronic signal.

Go to www.airgun.com and try to find the manual, that should tell you how the warp is set to operate. It should probably be in vibration.

However, if it doesn't work when you press the white button your batteries are probably dead...

                Warp Feed

DSC, You could go to the workshop area or the tech section, can't remember off of the top of my head, and look up the specs on the direct wire hook up from your E-Mag battery to your warp. I built two for a buddy's and my X-MAG. In a x-mag the room is very tight for the wiring but the channel in your grip frame of the E-Mag is perfect for this. With the intellifeed plug and the E-Mag battery combo you lighten your marker by two batteries and it makes the whole set up a bit more custom. If I remember the parts cost a total of 14 or 15 dollars at Radio Shack. You just need to want to try the soldering of the components. The system takes your 18 volts from the battery and steps the voltage down to 12 volts, just what a fast warp needs. Well good luck and remember if you tackle this it's two less batteries you are buying. Good Luck!
