freestyle definetly. I personally hate the older timmy's, and i'm trying to tell my friend to not buy one and get an alias instead, and i've had some troubles with my ion...

The Ion is the best bang for your buck right now as far as new guns are concerned."Luckily for Hammerhead, there's a sucker born every minute." - Miscue

if i were you i would get a mag, but that is not on yourlist so i would go with the freestype definatley."Ah yes, I have one of the 32*rebels that I always take to big scenario games. It keeps the truck from rolling if I have to park on a hill." - automikey

I'd get the Freestyle personally, but if you don't have the budget, get the Ion. The Intimidator has way too much recommended maintenance IMO.O-Ring Kits FS: Matrix/DM4 / Freestyle / Intimidator / Shocker SFT & More!

Ah, there is hardly any maintenance required on a timmy. I lube the regs about once every 4-5 game plays, or if I get FSDO. Other than that, turn it on and go play. And a reg takes all of 3 turns to undo. If you spend more than 2 minutes maintaining you timmy, you've screwed something up bigtime.

That is definitely true. My alias is probably one of the easiest guns to maintain that I've ever owned.Originally posted by oldsoldierAh, there is hardly any maintenance required on a timmy. ive owned my fair share of cockers, mags and impys and want something different. Ive seen freestyles on ebay for 450 range and was leaning towards one of those.

FREESTYLE. my teemate has one and when ever I am over i play with that think. Its small, light, Looks really good and Freakin rips. Now thats a bang for your buck......... Lets put it this way, Pro teams using ion ------- non. pros using Freestyle, naughty dogs, the ducks or whatever they are called, and i think another. Great gun

We're not saying that ions are better when compared to freestyles on a level playing field, they just cost a few hundred less. It depends what you want, affordability, or completely-unnecessary-ripping-ability-that-you'll-never-be-able-to-take-full-advantage-of-without-ramping-software b/c your fingers can't move that fast anyway. I say get the Ion.
