You could probably put surran wrap under the grips or caulk the frame.

Oh yeah. That is one of the biggest sentences I have ever seen.

I had an egrip on my a5 and it was awesome for me. BUT, when the rain comes, or if your gonna crawl through water, its best to put the mech trigger back on. Which is nice cause its so easy to do. Sealing the grip would be tough due to the way it mounts. Rain water would surely run right down the reciever and into the gap where it mounts.

If you could seal the top edges, make a paper thin gasket between the grip halves, and get some rubber plugs for the adjuster holes you may be safer. That would only leave the gap behind the trigger to accept water.

          Hope this helps.

I have an A5, but I cant get another gun so dont bash it. I hear the A5 E-grip doesnt do too well with rain and such, so if you put a sticky grip on it, will it help keep the water out? Or should I just stick with the stock grips.

Atleast I think he meant stock grips when he said raw.

It's the exact same shape as the stock grip frame so it wont take stickys. They probably wouldn't do too much anyway. Personally I'd just save and get a new gun even if you don't have the money now. My e-grip broke without ever being used in a game. I can't speak for other people but my experience with the A5 in general wasn't very good.

I don't know why you (overkill8000) keep trashing the A-5 in your threads. It's a nice gun. Perhaps it isn't a super fast tournament gun but it will last forever and not everyone plays that type of PB. I've got an A-5 to go with my E-Mag and Timmy. I love using it in the woods and other times when ROF isn't as important.

PLEASE stay in school! SARAN wrap.
And the A5 is a fine gun, I don't know about the egrip, but who knows? Try the Sickies.

I don't know why everyone bags on the A5. It's a nice gun. Maybe not the best choice for tourney 'ballers, but still nice.
