that colin/dw/arowmic w/e wil be making kartas/chords or w/e for ions..

cany anyone confirm? ide be really upset...maybe he could change the desighn mroe and call it something diff

ide just ahte to see the ONLY uniqe things that mags have going for them be ported to other guns in the same format

and while this threads up anyone who recently bought a dallara/karta want to lmk what # are upto?

yeah i heard about that somewhere here before...

but didn't AGD and deadlywind partner up to use the karta/chord/dallara bodies exclusively for the mag? If so doesn't that mean that deadlywind needs AGD's consent to use that body on an Ion? just a thought though.

yea i read a post from Nicad over at PBN, that they are working on porting the Karta body over to the Ion as we speak

although theyl probly be bigger and weird looking it sucks the only unique things we have are going to go

if i was colin ide probly do the same thing though

well i also saw dw is working on a carbon composite frame for the ions..cool stuff.

im still kinda sad.

Yea im with chrono the DW bodies were kinda the only unique thing for mags....as long as the dallara doesnt get forced to th dark side im cool.

But i understand its a buisness and buisness have to do what they gotta do to make money.

The only thing unique to a mag is it's quality and ingenuity of Tom Kaye. Otherwise its just another paintball gun just like the rest....except Angels. Fly or Die.

As much as I love my Karta Emag, and I agree the Karta body makes it unique...I also understand that Colin wants to expand his business. Like someone said above, IONs are the hot item and you'd be stupid not to try and capture a portion of the market if you've got the talent and the resources to make it happen.

Mag pride? Eh. I will always be a fan of AGD. But I'm also a fan of Colin's work. I wish him all the best wherever that may be.

i agree with everything said, as i also said i would have made them too if i could have.

but it would suck having pretty much the only unie upgrade we have going to other platforms.

but i was thinking, unles he leaves part of the body exposed it stil wont be as slikc small and cool looking..and as $ as the mag version

and yes i lov my karta too, and appreciate everything dw has done for mags so far.

im not like furious or anything, i more or less started the thread out of curiosity as if this was true because the search feature on pbn sucks and i couldnt find an answer.

Yeah, its a good idea for companies to jump on the whole ion bandwagon, just because there is a huge potential for money. There are just so many ions out there, and they need aftermarket parts, why not make them? Money is money, and it drives nearly everyone to do stuff they don't exactly would like too. Although, I don't like the idea of once mag specific bodies on ions. Scott, prepare to get your mag confused with an ion everyday.
