sorry but that was a very poor article. ive read better and more accurate posts on AO. plus theres just too much faulty info, like ive heard repeatedly that PVI created the first electro, the shocker, and SP either bought them out or stole their design or w/e, but the article says that SP created the first electro, AND IT ALSO said that WDP created the first electro. then there were also a few other things i noticed, plus the complete absence of AGD in the article, plus the concluding paragraph just sucks. all the possible ways for improvement he mentioned are too far fetched, and he didnt even mention ideas like simons gun.
What do you think?

Not quite you read too quickly it actually says "Also in the mid to late 90s, a little known company from England, WDP, came out with their first ever electronic marker, the Angel." I have highlighted the part you speed read.Originally posted by sladesorry but that was a very poor article. ive read better and more accurate posts on AO. plus theres just too much faulty info, like ive heard repeatedly that PVI created the first electro, the shocker, and SP either bought them out or stole their design or w/e, but the article says that SP created the first electro, AND IT ALSO said that WDP created the first electro. then there were also a few other things i noticed, plus the complete absence of AGD in the article, plus the concluding paragraph just sucks. all the possible ways for improvement he mentioned are too far fetched, and he didnt even mention ideas like simons gun.
In reality WDP had their electro on show before the Shocker...I saw it on a display board, all in cutaway parts to show how it worked (not the cleverest idea they ever came up with) and the original trigger was actually a soldered piece of metal attached to the micro switch
then Smart Parts rushed theirs through to market ahead of WDP.

Yikes - someone needs to do his homework before writing articles. I won't even begin to mention the flow...
Oh, wait - I just did
