I have the big cell+on/off on both my warps, and they work flawlessly for me. IIRC, HAvoc said that the big cell is a little longer lasting than the 12v, but that was a couple years ago and MANY beers since then, so my memory has been affected

I did a 12 volt mod and threw on an LED and on/off switch. It works fine for me, and once I realized that the battery contacts were hitting the switch was the reason it wasn't working I haven't had any problems with it. Haven't tried or seen the bigcell mod. But my money would be on the 12 volt, haven't chopped recently w/ my spyder (not to say that the barrel hasn't broken MORE than it's fair share of paint- spyder's t-boarded btw).
