carbon fiber, and other non ano finishes?

ok guys i've searched and searched with no results of the one answer that i have.

someone here a while back posted a pic of a ule body mag that had a carbon fiber finish on the whole gun.

now i know that one specific gun was not annoed nor lazer engraved. it was the same type of finish done on hunting shotguns if i'm not mistaken.

i just cannot find the name for the type of finish and/or process that its done.

can someone here help me out please?

    thanks

...that mag just had stickers on it, you can find them on websites that sell auto body stuff (pages for ricers)

edit- some company did make a new process for a carbon fiber finish, done on a cocker floating around, mabey your looking for that?

ok guys, i really apreciate all the help and input, however non of it is what i'm looking for so far.

i know for a fact is not stickers, nor laser engraving.

i've held that gun in my hands before,

the process that is done by, and this is a very rough guidelines, a pattern of choice(carbon fiber as in the mag, or whatever camo pattern done on the shotguns) of a film like is layed over a bath of water, it is then sprayed with some sort of acid(i believe) that breaks up the film, then you put whatever material you would like the pattern on the film and into the water and presto, done.

again, that is a very rough guideline. but thats all i know, i need the name of that procedure or whatever its called.

so far, thanks for the help guys.

Azzkikr, I know exactly what finish you're talking about. Unfortunately, I have no idea who does it.
                      My feedback is available here.

Film Dipping? I've seen a few camo finished markers through that process and I know it is fairly common for shotguns.
