Woods sniper

I heard from a friend today that in a tournament a while ago, someone was shooting from the woods at one of the teams, off field. Is this true? Has anyone ever heard of this? or is it just a myth?

It's not a myth. Jeremy Salms (think I got it right) was "sniping" from the woods to help his team (Avalanche or Aftershock?) win the tournament.

Yup. It was a few years ago and quite few people were disgusted that he was't permently banned from organised PB. The "cheating is part of the game" people didn't care too much.

Wasn't it World cup '02? It was avalanche*. Told the team he was sick and hid in the wood wearing all black, who'da thunk they wouln't notice the blonde hair I'll have to go to the archive to find out for sure. (I have like 2 or three boxes of old PB mags going back to around 2k, I never throw anything away)

The biggest news of the day was the forced resignation of the tournament by pro team Avalanche. The team was forced to forfeit their last three games of the day due to an instance of rule-breaking. no guys. Ok. let me explain it for the slow guys. A matrix is quiet. A sniper shooting from outside a tourny would not want a loud gun or he would be spotted easier. So therefore, a matrix would be more effective.

its funny that 2.5 years ago is WAY too long ago for lots of ppl to remember stuff happening...what in a year are ppl going to be all "i heard from a friend this company that makes shockers sued someone..." not to flame, its just funny that 2.5 years is such a long time in the PB community.
