Constantly this egg will make me skip shots on my matrix. I just installed the z-board and it's amazingly inconsistant. The light keeps flashing which means what, a jam? Do you guys think I should do the propeller mod?

when ever something of mine breaks i try to fix it or if that doesnt work i ask AO whats wrong. last resort is calling the company and telling them your pissed off and want the to talk to the designer of the product.........rt ule custom, boomstick, ult,apoc2k and x board revi, i want:j&j ceramic.Comment

for the first time ever I managed to drop shots on my Egg when I put a Z board into it. I thikn it has to do with the variable drive speed but I could be wrong.

a Z-Boared Egg dont have a variable drive speed. The Y-Board had it.
Your Problem sounds like a short somewhere. The LED lights when the Batterie gets week.
You maybe check your wires. Because the very much same thing happends to me. As i put it back together, i pinche the Eye Cable. So i had sometimes a short.
The wires running on the right side of the Motor (close o the Feedneck). They get pinched or the Housing screw is kutting it off... I had the pincher problem...lol
But its all fixed now and no trouble at all....Its feed like a little MF....
