Indoor vs. Outdoor

I'm going to my first indoor field today, is it any better then outdoors? Worse?

I must say that it depends on the field. There are great indoor fields and crappy indoor fields. There are great outdoor and crappy outdoor. So, if you compare a great indoor field to a crappy outdoor....you will like the indoor better.

I personally like my indoor field because of the weather where I live. I can play anytime regardless of conditions outside. My shots always fly the same w/o wind effecting them. The turf where I go is heavenly. The place is great, so that is why I voted indoor. THats because there just arent that great of outdoor fields around here.

also if you play rec style or tourney style ball. That matters too in whether you will like the indoor field. I find that at the indoor field ppl play more aggressively. Outdoor/rec is a bit more slow and relaxed play.

I agree with Yakitori, I like indoor feilds because in canada, it seems 6 months out of the year it is to cold to have an enjoyable day of play. But, I've played at an outdoor feild in the summer, and it was nicer because it was more open, and the breeze feels great when your hot.As in indoor, I play at one of the best places in canada because I live near toronto, so I am kinda spoiled..I have been to a few other indoors and they just suck..

So, I say they are equal. IF they are evenly matched.

I've yet to find a wooded indoor feild. So I will have to go with outdoors

A nice day outside on a speedball field is way better than indoors as long as the field is good imo. I like indoors a lot if the weather isnt that great but otherwise i prefer outdoors.

1. AC
2. Never Rains
3. Stays open later

I dont like my indoor field now because they went to reball. I want to play paintball not reball. If I wanted to shoot with rubber balls I would play airsoft... I WANT TO SEE PAINT

Your field went to re-ball? Wow that's awful. I definitely would never go there again unless all I wanted to do was practice drills.

I like outdoor best. Even though my indoor has decent turf, it's still hard to sprint OTB without your feet coming out from under you. And outdoor is just bigger.

Well, the "local" indoor is too small. but when I have played outdoor, i loved it, or hated (rain).

I've seen some nice indoor xball feilds, it all depends on how it's set up.

ive seen indoor woodsball (airsoft stlye) fields and outdoor airball fields.

Its all dependant on the field size and the weather if you want to jsut compare the bonuses of outdoor vs indoor.

Well, we got there and it turns out that they had parties until about 6:00, so basically we weren't able to play. My friends and I decided to go to our local field, and we got really lucky. Turns out there was a EXP tournie there, and that was alot of fun to watch. Plus, I got to hold well over 10,000 dollars in guns.

BTW, the DMC doesn't seem much different then the other DM5's.

i have never played indoor paintballl so i go with outdoor, but usually i prefer indoor...if you know what i mean..id like to try indoor paintball, any spots in southern california? im in San diego but go to la every once in a while.
