AKA excal

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I shoot an 04 excal. Excaliburs are actually my favorite markers. The 04 is a bit smaller and lighter than the 03s, which are roughly the same size and weight as a Matrix. The excalibur is a closed-bolt electropneumatic marker, capable of over 20 bps. I would not reccomend one without eyes and a WAS or Pandora board, though Tadao is also coming out with a great board for them. AKA is no longer allowed to make excaliburs or vikings, so you would have to look for one of the few remaining ones or get a used one. You can check the BST here, PBN, or AKAowners.org for plenty of used ones.Last edited by Steelrat; 05-01-2005, 08:08 AM.

I have an 03, and they are just about sweet. The Excal is smoother than my Viking, and there's just something elegant about the closed bolt. Like Steelrat, the Excal is my favorite marker.

quick question, do you think that site mentioned above would still have the unmilled viking for 775 at the end of the summer? because im interested in picking up a viking and 775 sounds like a good price for a new one. also, what is the going rate for used unmilled vikings? thanksyou know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

For that price, I bet Dan will have them for too long.Originally posted by jenarelJAMquick question, do you think that site mentioned above would still have the unmilled viking for 775 at the end of the summer? because im interested in picking up a viking and 775 sounds like a good price for a new one. also, what is the going rate for used unmilled vikings? thanks
I have never shot and Excal, but my Viking is awesome. I have heard that most people prefer the Excal over the Viking so I don't see how you could go wrong.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.
