    Automag Pressure??

Hey, I'm looking at getting a Devil Mag, But i was wondering what is the operation pressure of a Devil Mag, or an AutoMag in general.

    THanks

They require around 800 psi input.

They operate around 400 PSI IIRC, but you need to have atleast a 200 psi buffer between the reg and the chamber. Since the mag has an integrated regulator, I wouldnt put any less than 700 psi in it to be safe.

And if you get an adjustable tank and crank the pressure up to around 900-1100psi, you'll get even better performance out of your mag. A higher input pressure will give you a faster recharge rate.

            wow

            that is spoken soo well

it should be in a mag manual

            but ya thats true

i have a addjustbal tank (flatline) and i run it around 800-900 and in mech mode i have a really really fast reactive trigger (rt) i love it its really fast im thinking in making a movie on me shooting a hole hopper by jest sweet spoting it with 900 going into the reg. it shoots mad fast

also over 1000 psi into the reg may mess it up

nope, the xvalve is rated for 3000 psi and zak vetter makes vids where he hooks it up to a scuba (around 2200 psi i think) and fires his rt pro over 30 bps. i dont know what the input pressure was for his 34.5 bps vid, but i would guess it was closer to 3000. that being said, i think 100, or the 1200 the flatline is capable of wouldnt hurt it at all.

yes it wont harm it but its not good for the valve

                  like drinking

theres a set limit you should have but you can still go over it and but you will get messed up

i was reading my e-mag manual and its says over 1000 will put lots of preasure on the orings and spring and will affect their performance.

                  read here

                  "USE COMPRESSED AIR ONLY

Your X-mag is designed to run on compressed air only! It will not function at all on CO2 no matter what hoses, expansion chambers, etc. you use. We recommend that you purchase a high-quality compressed air tank and regulator for your X-mag. Working input pressure to the paintball marker is 600 psi to 1000 psi for best performance. Pressures over 1000 psi will damage the regulator and reduce performance."

Thats a good point but so many people have ran pressure over 1000 into there mags and i have yet to see a prob. BTW, i could see why itd say that in an xmag manual, you dont really need to jack the pressure in an xmag to make it shoot fast.

you know what you made me think

ya it dosent bother the mech mags that much i guess but it think that it can mess up the Solenoid. ya know if it has to push the sear up on all the preasure could screw that up

mabey thats why it says 1000??

but it still can damage the springs in the reg. and could make them weaker
and orings would need to be replaced more offen.

and you know what this makes me think of something else

i used to have a 3000 psi flatline tank and i jest sold it for a 4500 flatline.

with the 3000psi flatline i had to put 1050-1100 for the input for it to keep up in rapid fire?? and in mech mode it wouldent get a reactive trigger at all?? and that messed me up for some reason. and the recharge rate was bad thats why i had to juke it up soo much. i guess. after one shoot with about 1100 psi into the gun. when i shoots once and it recharges it drops to around 850-900 thats like 200-300 psi drop thats bad.

now with the 4500 that i jest bought here on ao i can set it on 800psi into the gun. and when i shoot once the recharge drops to about 750-725 then gose back to 800psi. and it recharges really fast. i can have a fast reative trigger with jest 800psi. if i put 850 into it its goings as fast as walking in E i have to crono it cuse i jest got this tank and i really want to know how fast its really shooting

ill take a vid of it sometime

soo with my tank problem i think it was jest the reg i guess. mabey the 3000 psi flatline was it may of had bad orings??? i dont know

well sorry to get off topic i got too excited cuse i my new flatline is allsome and rips at a low preasure!!
