Getting Pen Ink off of Tank

I had a pen blow up in my gearbox, and one of my tanks now has pen ink all over the hydro date... It was hydroed like a few weeks ago too. Is there any way to get the pen ink off of the epoxy without damaging the tank or the epoxy, or must I hydro it again to get a new sticker?

i don't know annything about expony, but you might be able to get it off with some water and rubbing, and mabey some dish soap. Another route is to get some rubbing alchahol or some kind of glue remover (goof off works well)

Soap hasn't worked so far. I'll try the cotton ball and rubbing alchohol when I get the chance to. I wasn't sure if the alchohol would damage the tank, thanks. :)

                Nail polish remover works perfect.
My son left a Sharpie in his pants and I didnt check them.
I thought I had runied our new dryer, there was ink all over everything
about 30 minutes with cotton balls and nail polish remover and the wife never knew

Test a small area of the epoxy rub some on and see if it gets gooey
                if not scrub away

i wouldnt want to mess with a tank with any form of substance that could possibly weaken the epoxy.

nail polish remover is perfectly safe to use on your tank

just wash it after your done with some soap and water to get any remover on your tank once your all done

The epoxy can weaken itself all it wants. It only purpose is to hold the hydro sticker onto the tank. The tank It's on it a fiber-wrapped tank with a glass-ish shell around it, with epoxy holding the hydro sticker on.

Use "Goof Off". Its easily available and made for taking off paint, ink, etc. The only thing i would worry is whether it took the ink off the sticker as well, assuming the hydro sticker isn't protected in some way by the epoxy it's mounted with.
