    Good deal?

I am trying to purchase a mag for 150 dollars. I dont know what condition it is as of now. I will know by saturday nite. The mag comes stock with a 14 or 16 inch jj ceramic barrel, and a halo tsa backman, as i said before he wants 150 for it all and the way i see it is.
    50 for a the barrel
    50 for the hopper
50 for the gun, but he said i have to buy all this stuff to get those deals
This will be my first mag, a step up from the spyder i have put so much care into...
My future plans are the logic 90* frame, lvl 10, ULT and hpa. My parents said they would by me hpa for my grades in school. But i will be stuck with c02 for a while, i have talked with people and they have said that no mattter what other people say the xchambers do there job, and i have tons of those laying around, Is it worth it?

It sounds like a OK deal, but nothing too special. I'd look around the B/S/T section first and make sure there isn't anything better. Ebay is also another option.

You could probably find a better deal online, but if you have Onlinegunbuyingphobia, go for it.

Oh, and the J&J ceramic is NOT worth that much used. Brand new they cost $30.

Personally I'd go with a rail as opposed to a drop. The Hybrid Blunt rail is nice. For tank size, it depends on your needs. Mags aren't renowned for their air efficiency. Generally you get about 1000 shots out of a 68 /4500. I went with a 91/4500 stubby for the extra shots (about 1300), I'm a big guy so the size isn't an issue for me. It's the same length as a 68 / 4500, it's just a bit fatter. A lot of people like the stubby 72 / 4500 peanut tanks as well. It all really depends on your playing style & preference. I'd definitely recommend going with a 4500 psi tank though, not much point messing around with 3000 psi.

Good luck with the new mag!

ps, if you can afford a nice adjustable tank, the Dynaflow is great. This is a wonderful thaing to have for when you eventually get an x-valve. If you can't afford adjustable, Crossfire tanks are great presets.

ok, i play mostly speedball but i do play some woods ball, exactly how big are you, im 5 11" and about 220, the lucky thing is i can get almost anything wholesale YAY which means a big price drop, i know i can get pure energy, crossfire, and evil scions. so how havy is the bigger tanks

You know I've never actually weighed it to see what the difference between that nad a 68 would be. The weight of the reg can make a difference too, especially some of the Air America regs. I'm 6'2" about 210lbs so an extra lb or two on my marker is no big deal to me. The place where I did most of my playing had all day air, but it was a fairly long uphill walk from some of the fields to the filling station, so I was more concerned with getting a bigger tank to get more shots and therefore more games before making the trek to get air.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, as for tank size I recommend the 68/45. Good luck with the new mag.

a 68/45 is about the same length as a 20oz. but the 68/45 is lighter i think. it's a lot bigger around though.
