I use a red-dot reflex sight on all my paintball guns (Tac-1, and pumps) and I love them! They greatly imnproved my "kill ratio", as the first balls are right on target, instead of walking the balls in. Takes a little practice to acquire the dot, in close-quarters combat and snap shooting situations, though.

I'd love to put a Tac body on my E-Mag but it would just be for looks and there are so many other things I need to spend the $ on

Flashlight
Flashlights are always useful indoors, and of course at night. They should be set up with a momentary switch.

Yes, I do have the switch, just didn't put it on for the pic. I have a laser to, but don't have it on right now. Just for fun!Originally posted by HOMOCIDAL2Flashlights are always useful indoors, and of course at night. They should be set up with a momentary switch.

Modified E-Tacs
Anyone else interested in seeing some more modified E-Tacs click here:
I originally wanted to play scenario games but they are few and far between for me and with how much they're charging for rounds it's ridiculous. So most of all the accessories I have pictured are pointless for most of the games I go out on because the fields aren't that big and it's a lot quicker shooting from the hip than to take the time to use your sight, but it sure looks cool with all the stuff on it, pressure switches and all. Mind the weight though. With all the stuff on and hopper and tank, it definitely is much heavier.
Yes, unfortunately paintball doesn't have the range and accuracy to really take full advantage of the sights. All my gear is decked out in black and in the old days I was devastating when playing night games especially if the other side didn't have any IR equipment to detect me. Haven't played a night game in over 7 years though. The Predator board I dropped in to it does definitely make a difference. You won't have to feel like you're outdated compared to the guns out there now. It definitely rips. I just wish it included a nice LCD display or something. Oh well, fast and dirty.
I personally don't like to run drops either as you can see by the CP drop I have on mine. I also ULE'd my rail just to take some of the weight off of it. It's probably just as light or lighter than the X-mag setup, I feel. If could swap the battery out for something smaller and lighter that would pretty much take the weight off of the front. Either way, the tank and the hopper is really where the weight is these days with most guns. The few ounces off of each body you take off I think is miniscule compared to not having a tank and hopper on it weighing it down, but at the moment that's unavoidable.Last edited by Temujin; 05-11-2005, 05:27 PM.

Thats OK, let the non believer think what they want about red dots and paintball guns.... The first time someone who has a properly "zero'd" sight hits them with a head shot with one or two shots, They'll see the light. lol.Originally posted by urbansixI use a red-dot reflex sight on all my paintball guns (Tac-1, and pumps) and I love them! Nice Tac Bro --- Red Dots and lights are standard equipment for senario, some players just don't get it though.
