The best regs are AKA, but they dont qualify as relativly cheap, and theyre massive overkill for a spyder. I had a PMI reg on my old spyder, they were only $30. I have no clue if they make them anymore though.Automag RT Pro

also for a aka reg, www.dbnpaintball.com... 75 shipped for a sidewinder.
As for a 'cheap' reg, your best bet would probably checking ebay or the BST forum here, I saw yesterday a couple of new Sidewinders going for 60.
As for quality Regs in no particular order:
aka 2 liter
aka sidewinder
palmer stabilizer
CP
ANS Gen-x
Air America
For your spyder, you will need a high pressure/high flowing regulator which will hand CO2 very well. I would recommend the Palmer Stabilizer as they have been proven to work well with CO2. I'm sure all the others do well also, but I have not used them with CO2.

Best for the cash is going to be a bob long torpedo or CP.
Are you trying to get it LP? Running CO2 or HPA?
If running CO2 then ur gunna need to go palmers.
Oh yeah, go here for any and all spyder info, including how to transform it into a cocker or pneumatic
(lots of fun, ACCURATE articles)

AirSoldier (HaveBlue) sells only high quality regs and his prices are very competative.

DONT PUT A REG ON A SPYDER!!! you'll thank me later, trust me

Why not? I've had series of regs on my Spyder (first gun) since 1994 and they seriously improve the consistancy.Originally posted by snake_eaterhummm

Aye, definitely put a reg on it.
Just remembered another popular reg for spyders is the gladiator, used to be really expensive tho, it might have gone down in price its a really old reg.
