from talking to Jay, i gather that the frames will be "like" an 86 degree. the vert is a one off since wdp holds the patents for 90 degree frames.

pro teams will be doing all the production of the mag pneumatic frame.

    Florida peeps...step up!!

I agree, you guys have done a heck of a job on those....Well done.

But to be fair, you also need to add the frame cost to that figure so $75+$100 for an intelliframe (for instance) = $175+ shipping. Not to far off from ~$200 =/- which is the target price.

Oh, and Lee has had the chance to shoot it and can give an un-biased opinion of the trigger system.

          Mmm....

I'm not sure how much of the 'extra' stuff will make it to production. The roller drive system I expect will as that first Pneumag has like 100-200K shots on it and literally has zero signs of wear internally. It should last a lifetime and the roller parts are a big part of that. The system exerts less force on the valve/sear than pulling the trigger the 'old fashioned' way.

I doubt a roller sear will be included tho, it's definately overkill and you couldn't use that sear on a Classic rail....it wouldn't be fair to leave anyone out. :)

so my question... will you be able to easily short stroke this trigger like current mags? I doubt it.. being only 1mm but I have a ULT on my mag and a blade trigger but I can't really walk it because it's too easy to short stroke it. And that's a pain because when you do.. it chuffs.. then you need to de-gas and re-gas, which is much easer with an on/off ASA that vents excess gas.

No you wont. The trigger isn't interacting with the on/off in the same way. It's basicly the same reason there will no longer be any reactivity.

I don't know why you'd have to degass the gun when it chuffs. The bolt should just reset. Even if you do get bolt stick you can just push the bolt back with a straight shot or something.

to add to this, i reffed down at world cup last fall and shot the hAir trigger from Nicad while reffing a 10 man. and my pnuematic trigger compared to the hair is a little longer and heavier. its still walkable but, the hAir and what PTP has is far better.

the trigger is awesome. as fast as my emag, ion or my old bushy. very short and light. feels EXACTLY like an electro. it actually feels better than the ion or bushy. it's right on par with the emag.

                    now back to you Jay.....
