    vavle question?

What is the diffrence between a classic valve and an RT valve? Do they both use the same amount of gas? Sorry for all the noob questions but i just found the beauty of mags and dont know that much information on them. And whats with the stars on the classic valve?

the RT valve has a reactive trigger. that helps to keep you from short stroking and allowes you to fater, but is illegal in some tournies. the RT valve will use more air then the classic if it has lvl10. the stars mean that you can send the valve into AGD and get it serviced.

I don't know on gas usage on them, I think - without level ten, that they are very close to similar. The RT valve uses the flow of the gas to push the trigger back with more pressure than it takes to pull it. It is a decent idea and can cause bounce (with high input pressures (higher than most preset tanks)) or be very controllable and result in a very crisp feeling trigger with normal (most preset tanks) input pressure.

The disadvantage to the RT valve is due to the flow of the air in it it causes expansion, and under rapid firing there are reports of shoot up of about 10 feet per second. There is a "special" RT chrono procedure involving holding the trigger back, releasing it, and firing quickly to simulate the shoot up effect, but most people jsut chrono a bit low (15FPS) of the posted speed limit and don't worry about this issue. The classic valve does not have it.

well i got about 600-700 shots from a 88 3k tank. mags with x-valve use a TON of air. and you have to remember that you will be stuck with ~800 psi left in your tank.

Why do them consume so much air, is there anyway to get atleast 1000 shots off my 68/45 with an xvalve? and is the classic valve a piece of junk or does it hold its own?(take in consideration that i play lots of woodsball and step onto the speedball field from time to time, dont flame please)

o your getting flamed.. j/k most ppl wont flame here we are nice and we help(most the time). well the x-valve runs at about 800 psi so you lose that much right off the bat and other then that i dont know why it uses so much air. from the same tank i get about 1400 shots on my imp. if you are not concerned about shoot fast or chopping then you can get the classic. but if you want to shoot faster and with your adjustable tank you can turn up your output and get the x-valve to bounce and it can shoot faster. if you want to shoot faster and have a anit-chop system that works when you set it up right then get the x-valve ( i hate the lvl10 b/c its reactive to hitting the ball). or you can stick with the classic and risk chopping at higher rof and short stroking. when i had my mag i got the x-valve and it was nice but mine was messed up b/c the lvl10 did not work, i knew how to tune them very good but mine did not want to stop when it hit the ball. and also the x-valve cost 250 with valve trade in. if i had to do it all over again i would not have got the x-valve b/c i traded my gun like 2 months after getting the x-valve.

well i definatly want a lvl 10, hate breech chops thats part of the reason i want a mag, instant antichopage. Will the lvl 10 fit in the classic valve, Im guess yea, does the xvalve and classic valve pretty much consume the same amount of air? Sorry for all the questions just want a to know my backround before i invest in a mag.

yes the lvl10 will fit in a classic valve, but it will also leave about a good ammount tof ain in your tank. if you have not bought the mag yet i would suggest looking at guns with real eyes, like the ion for one, shockers, devilmag, timmys, and other guns with anti-chop eyes. how much do you want to spend on a gun?

like 300, but i seen so many mags shoot and they just shoot ropes and they are semi low cost and i can afford one, dont really trust the ions that much im sure they are ok guns but i like mechs(easly operation, no messing around with dwell and such)

i dont know how upgraded of a mag you can get for 300. so i would look into an ion, used vision imp, and a used mag with lvl10. ummmmm thats all i can think if right now for under 300

yea and it has Break beam eyes, and different modes of fire, someone on here can get them for like 230 from their local shop. my firend has one to back up his proto and he loves it

My feild only fills to 3000 ish, and on my 68/4500 tank I get like, 6-700 shots out of my emag valve with level 10.. So, if you have a 4500 fill then you should be set for a bit higher...
