paintball safety statistics

Hey, i am starting this thread to ask for some good links to paintball safety statistics, and/or just people telling about their paintball safety experiences. Please be honest, I am creating this thread so that the mother of a friend will let her go paintballing this weekend. She is concerned that paintballing is dangerous, and i would like to get some information to the contrary. Thanks guys.

I beleive that most paintball accidents are misreported. This can be due to a total lack of reporting, misleading statements to professionals about how injuries occured, or just plain incorrect documentiation by professionals. I don't think it is as safe as we may be led to beleive ti is.
