RT-PRO rail on the Atkin's Diet

After seeing my rail get depressed while being around lighter guns at the field, I sent it off for an extreme makeover.I will have to say when it came back we were both smiling .I have never seen the rail so happy. It shed it's excess weight and has a new look on life.Boy,I need to get out more often.Anyways, here she is.I still have to clean it up a bit.It is getting mated to an Emag frame with no internals that I ULE'd myself.

That's about as skeletonized as it gets, though I see a few spots where you could drill more holes

Yeah I have two gutted Emag frames and battery housings.I just prefer the look and feel.I have made my own grips out of lexan and did away with the selector switch lever. As for the rail,I have a friend of mine that is an engineer. He did this one and my other one on my tac one. This rail will get put under a tac one also. The Emag grip frame will be minus all electronics(although I am accumulating electronics for a working e mag).I plan on gutting the entire grip of all unneeded aluminum for one of the tacs and the other will get electronics.I will have pics when I get it all assembled. And yeah it is skeletonized, very light.

                      Wow, that looks great!

Now you just have to fill up that frame and battery pack.

Uhm, how'd you go a bout the milling of the sear pin.

                            Isnt it longer than that?

Well, sorry but no print.I have no idea at the moment how much it weighs but I will try to get an amount. As for the sear pin,if you mill the sides down as mine is,it leaves a hole slightly smaller tha the diameter of the pin itself on the left side.I drilled this out the same diameter as the rest of the hole and it comes up flush on both sides. The pin is stock length. Now I wish I would have had my other rail milled flat on the right side too instead of leaving the hump.I may have to get it redone
