    Batteries/Board/Soleniod Qestion

If i run two 9 volt batteries on an emag in a series.... it would make 18 volts... would the 18 volts ruin the board or soleniod?

is there a way i can make a smaller battery myself that will make 16 volts to run my emag? since the big battery shoots 12k shots on one charge... i dont need that many, and i want to make my own smaller battery.

I have ran stock spyder boards on 18 volts just fine.

I think if you do a search you wuill find some info on this being tried before.

The problem isn't the voltage, its the sustained amperage output to drive the large solenoid.

The eMag solenoid draws about 3 amps (per Tom). 650maH referrs to how long the batter will last (1 hour at a constant 650 ma).
