Ehh, I would call it the Camaro or Firebird of paintball guns. It's fast as **** but it feels pretty basic and clunky. As for reliability, has Smart Parts ever had a really relaible gun? Impulse I guess...

Anyways, IMO there is no bang for your buck better than the Ion for a NEW gun. I haven't had much ICD experience, so keep that in mind.

Ion over all.. u could have said angel g7 or ion and i would still stick with Smart parts. Its soooo good for the price, and there are many many upgrades coming out for it. dont get a mag if u want speed.. unless ur willing to pay a lot of money and spend lots of time tinkering with it.

stop listening to the people telling you to buy a mag. It's a great gun but a mech mag won't serve you in speedball.

if you want either a B2k4 w/ pds or an ION. In my opinion you're better off with the B2K4. for reasons -

              1. better build quality
              2. less upgrading needed
              3. reliable manufactuer and support

BUT.. really I recommend shooting both as well just incase you really like the feel of one over another.

You can't easily service or field strip an ion keep in mind.

This sounds like my friend who bought an ION, he said, and I quote, "If I don't like it, I'll be albe to trade it straight up for a brand new Angel." I have never laughed that hard in my life.

What is wrong with a mag for speedball? I used it all the time for rec-speedball. It works great, have yet to use it in a tournament though.
