    Woodsball/Speedball...2 for 1!

One of my local fields just added this sup air course. Interesting place to put it, no? I know that I've never seen anything quite like this.

I think it defeats the purpose of Sup-Air, but from what I have been told folks seem to like it. I personally would have cut down all the smaller trees at a minimum.

I'm going to head up there sunday. I've been itching to pick up another Minimag from them for awhile any way I'll give my impressions on the layout when I return.

looks like a lot of the speedball filed I've played in the midwest here. Fit it in where you can. Hey, it's all cool. I'd play that.

I played it three weekends ago at AG and it worked really well. That particular field is pretty well cleared out of natural cover, so the addition of the blowups added a lot of nice angles. The tree cover is really sparse so they don't get in the way and you are not shooting through any small twiggy stuff.

They also cleared out that little "bachelor party" field by the entrance and put blowups in too makeing a decent 3-5 man field, though the terrain in the smaller one is way too uneven to allow for fast movement without twisting an ankle.

All in all, its pretty nice...and this is coming from a diehard woodsballer. Generally I dislike airball, but these just act like good bunkers in a nice large woods field, providing decent cover but keeping enough room to flank if desired.

If they do the same for Bear's Trap it would be a nice improvement.

That's great. I like playing airball and hyperball, but I still prefer a nice game of woods speedball. Oh, and of course just some good backyard woodsball.

I didn't find it to be any differant from other fields, except it's more colorful. It's not set up like a real speedball course is.

i think that it just ruins the whole idea of airball
