    AIM Timmy

I'm a loser so I felt like posting my gun up. Just got a new timmy body from AIM for my beat up gun.

I was a little unsure of how good the bodies were, but they're very high quality.

I don't like timy's all that much, but that body isn't to bad looking. I think it might have been better red though
    Pretty nice overall

Red isn't a bad color. Except for the fact my highschool colors were red/white and probably around half of my clothes had red on them. So if I have any choice I stay away from that color now

I like it. Would look real good with chrome highlights and a chrome/nickel reg.

It'd look even nicer with a 05 reg housing and a smaller volumizer, but it looks fine as it is.

Yeah if my LPR ever craps out and needs a complete rebuild (spring, piston, etc) I'll probably just spend the extra cash and get 05 parts.

Very nice. I was thinking of building an Intimidator from the ground up with one of those.

Check out ebay! You can get them for 150 if nobody bids. I won mine for 165...

AWESOME price considering what USED bodies go for on PBN. And they come with a nice ram sleeve and a good clamping feedneck.

I like it. Very basic. There is a guy in the dealer section that will custom build those things (AIM body but I'm not sure about the guts) for you starting at $630. That sounds like a swell deal to me. What do you think? I ask cause I don't know the first thing about timmys, but their fans seem to be legion.

Well, a lot of people complain that they're overly complicated. I found that after taking apart and cleaning my timmy COMPLETLEY, that there is NOTHING to worry about. Barbs, lubing, hoses, it's all very easy to take care of, and the gun seems very reliable as long as you lube your stuff up once in a while.

As far as AIM brand intimidators, I don't know. Only thing on mine that is AIM is the body, ram sleeve, and feedneck. The thing I don't like about the ones they're selling is the grip frame. That, and I'm not sure how good their regulators are, but they're probably just clones of the originals which aren't bad. The LPR with external hoses doesn't look like my style though. AAAAND I don't know what board they have in them.

I got my GZ used for 525 shipped off of PBN. It came with...

GZ body (faded/worn out color, a few scratches, dirty, feedneck JB welded in, but in working condition)
Critical Frame (like a 2k5 frame only made for 2k2 parts)
Critical Trigger (possibly one of the best triggers for your money - comes with magnets)
                          WAS 2.8
                          Stock Torpedo & LPR
Stock Bolt (BEAT TO HELL! Scratched like crazy, and should probably be replaced)
                          CP Volumizer
                          Critical Rail
                          CP On/Off with bleed
                          Check It: JR3 Barrel (.689)

It was a pretty good deal, but the gun itself had been treated like crap and needed a lot of love.

I sold the GZ body for $120 shipped and am throwing in the stock GZ eye covers for free because the buyer was quick and kept good communication. Then I paid 165 for the AIM body, which evens out to a $45 loss. Very good IMO...

Overall I have about 600 put into this deal, the extra $ being the stuff to fix it up and make it work right again (o-rings, hose, screws, etc). Once I sell the barrel and extra ram sleeve i should have about $50-$60 back bringing the overall cost to...

                          $550

I thought that was a good deal, that's why I jumped on it so quickly. If I had it to do again, I'd definitely buy used. You can get some awesome deals on 2k2 style intimidators that will function almost identically to the newer guns.

As I said before, very nice. But I fling flangin HATE that everyone calls them Timmies(any Intimidator). If Bob wanted everyone to call it Timmy, he damn well would've just named it Timmy! Intimidator is sooooooooooooo much better!

I suppose it does make them sound a little wussy.
