    Nitrogen tank...

Today after an awful attempt at enjoying myself at my local field, I bought a nitro tank off of this kid. $50, decent price, but i know that tanks have an "expiration date" seeing as how im a moron and didnt ask for it.... how would i find this date? What are the dangers of playing with an "expired" tank?

    Its on the label..

The dangers arent much to worry about if the tank is in good condition..

BUT, Proshops and Fields SHOULDNT fill them if the date is expired.

Hydro test it, it should pass. There is a recent thread on that here too.

Post the DOT-E number, and other numbers like IA11.

There are two type of expirations. One is the hydro and the other is when the tanks usefull life. I dont know about the history...but that would make any Carbon Fiber tank made in 1990 this year it would be "condemned". Im not sure if they made Carbon Fiber tanks in 1990...because I haven't been playing that long.
