    X-valve vs Retro-valve

Is there really a difference in consistency? I have heard that the all aluminum valve tends to fluctuate more at the chrono?

I doubt there would be much of a difference (if any at all), since the major change is just the material the valve is made out of.

The only difference that I can think of is that you will have to get the retro milled out if you want to use a ULT kit.
consistancy wise I have never noticed a difference.

I personally like my ReTro valve better. I just got her up and running and I'm selling my ULE's X-valved mag and keeping my SS RT valved mag. I can't really explain why it just seems to feel better.
