PE 5K tanks.. Does anyone have one?

I have easy access to a 5k fill, and the idea of having that kind of tank interests me

I want to know if anyone here has one, and if so how much did you pay?

    Where did you get it?

Does it come with the T.H.O.R.?

Do I need the T.H.O.R. on my mag?, or can I use a regular bottom line asa?

And About how many shots do you get off a full fill?

Also what is it preset at?

I can't tell you how many shots to expext, other than to look at how many shots you currently get from your 68/3000 Flatline and multiply that number by 1.66. That should give you a pertty good idea.

Now, the PE 68/5000 can be purchased both with and without the THOR regulator. And no, your Mag will not benefit from using the THOR. The tank is already prerset to 850 psi. The THOR is designed to act as a secondary regulator, which may actually impare the performance of your mag, so save the money and just get the tank.

So to answer your other question, yes, you can just screw the tank into a bottomline adapter, just like any other preset tank.

      Hope this helps.

easy math, if 3000 psi is 10 shots per ci, and 4500 is 15, then every 1500 psi you get 5 shots per ci,which is 1.6 shots per 500 psi, so 5000 psi has 500(10)=5000, so 10 x 1.6 is 16 shots about per ci, exactly it would be 16.6 shots per ci, so 5000 psi 68 ci tank would get 1128.8 shots which is pretty good. i wouldnt suggest it if you cant fill that high cuz most places cant, but if you can , which you can, go for it. and no they dont come with THOR, and if you get THOR, the preset of the tank wont matter.
