From what ive heard, throw a couple drops of oil in the asa, take the barrel off, and dry fire a bunch so you flush the oil thru the system. Then its done.

      UTDRAGUN:

      1. 6 drops oil down the asa

      2. Dry fire 50 times without the barrel on.

      3. DONE.

Been doing that on my 10 year old mag since day one.

Occasionally, Ive removed the body from the rail to remove any paint.

thats pretty much it.... If you want to get fancy you can pull the valve & put a couple drops in the little holes that say oil.... damn I love mag maintenance.

I grease the internals periodically and run oil through the ASA before each day of play. It's so easy and fun to disassemble a Mag, I figure why not grease it. I haven't noticed a huge difference, but it helps me sleep better at night.

Well, rarely/occassionally it wouldnt hurt. I use Singer Sewing machine oil/grease for the Power tube. I put a little on, rub it around and slide the bolt over it. Really though, I think the oil from the asa should lube this part as well (you remove the barrel and dry fire it, because if you dont, oil WILL coat the inside of your barrel).

I lube about every other week. Used to lube weekly when I played weekly.

I drip silicone oil in the input every now and then.

                      Works great.

Does anybody know what kind of grease you should use? Someone said to PM Tuna? I've never PM'd anyone...I don't use yahoo messenger or msn messenger so I didn't think I'd be able to PM.
