do you have a twist lock barrel?

well on twist lock barrels the nubbin acts as a detent..since the ball falls directly into the barrel..its a little nub of metal or plastic which ever you use that sticks out ever so slightly to prevent the ball form rolling down the barrel and double feeding. So if you have a twist lock barrel look on the side for a slot thats where it goes...mine was hard a crap to get in...but yea thats what it does.

A nubbin can be either a wire or a piece of plastic. It is clipped onto the barrel, and held in place with two o-rings. It is used to regulate the flow of paintballs into the barrel/breach. Helps in preventing double feeds etc.

If it is a twist lock barrel, then no, no built in nubbin. These are replacable parts.
