CP 2piece barrel vs Freak system

Hey, it's a toss up between these 2 barrel systems. They both have adjustable sizes but I'm reading mixed reviews about them. I hear that Freaks aren't good with angels but are good on cockers and other guns. I hear that the CP barrels are good but I also hear they aren't. Anyone that has used BOTH of these barrels please give some feedback. Also if you have an angel, is the freak system good with it? I know it's all about the fit but there is a lot of heresay on a lot of forums.

Well I've owned a freak and I have to say I was'nt overly impresssed. The biggest issue was that if you broke a ball in the thing the paint was everywhere, in all the porting, under the inserts. And until you get it off the field, break it down and clean it really well, your accuracy will be for poop. I am starting to see the wisdom of just buying a few different barrels instead. When they come out with a freakish system that cleans on the field I'll be all over it. Out of the 2 I would try a CP. Cheaper and fewer holes to goo up. A tube is a tube when it comes right down to it.

Hmmm, yes, yes it is. Good thinking. Didn't know that freaks were hard to clean. Food for thought.

well, I found the CP kit and its only $30 cheaper than a freak deluxe. Grrr, wish you could shoot them before you buy them. There is a 5 piece CP set too. Where did you get yours Bond...Local? How much?

              Hmm

Sure, "A tube is a tube" but the freak is a tube that is quiet and accurate and you can change the size of the tube internally. A pvc pipe is a tube, but I doubt they work as well as the freak. (Perhaps I'm Wrong)

well i didnt look at any links but i know CP kits have stainless backs and freaks have aluminum insets. Nuff said stainless is better. :-) Ta ta.
