Ok so other day i had my mag in pieces and used a friends...and i used his empire B only hoppers ive ever really used were richochets(SP) and ive been wanting a halo or empire B but danm those things are heavy....i mean its riddiculous...and there tall way to tall...i know they can be cut down.I was wondering if anyone could show me a pic of a cut down Halo or Empire B on a ULE mag? And also are egg's good quality hoppers? and also are thye really tall i know there pretty big(fat /wide) im just trying to find a fast small hopper...and plz dun sugest a richochet i sold mine cause i didnt like it... so share some info plz.

I really like my Egg--I think it's got a nice profile to it. I also cut my feedneck down and it damn near rests on top of my gun. There's like an inch between my gun and battery lid.

Get a halo and do the 9 volt modd , it replaces your stock 6 AA's with two 9 volts. Takes a few onces off. Heres a pic of my halo on my subzero feedneck.

from what i've seen of the new runnings of the egg, the battery door look a little more reinforced. i like the look of the rico's, the speed of halo, and the cheapness of parts for the egg. overall, i prefer the egg over the apache. i think that is the best way to go. don't really care for reloader b's or other TSA hoppers.Originally posted by SpecialBlend2786e-mag 226

Halos are the best because they last the longest. The weight is not such an issue as say these following scenerios with an egg...
`Oh shi my battery door just exploded!`
`Oh the motor is jammed, yay!`
`Oh no my neck is cracking because I did a slide!`
`Oh the lid wont stay open because the hinges have paint on them! Oh well who needs to reload anyways!`
`Its okay because VL will replace parts for free like oddysey!`

Empire-b <--- fastest and lightest halo (4-AA pack still feeds past 20bps)
Best loader, I love mine.
I got the turbo-mod from www.paranoidpb.com and I noticed much more consistent feeding on the gun, doesn't stop feeding fast till the last 5 balls. Also got the delrin Hybrid Drive-cone but it hasn't arrived yet...My Feedback

Honestly the only thing that keeps me using my Egg rather than buying a HALO is the cost, I got my Egg new for $50 after S&H. Toss in a Z-Board and let 'er fly. Granted, not as fast as the HALO, but hey, I'm only shooting at an MROF of 16 bps anyway, why do I need something that'll feed 35?

This is true, but I don't own any of the recent generation Angels.... If I did I'd have an 05 Speed, I don't like the LCD functions, I've seen too many Angels brought to their knees because the thermocouple went bad on their boards and the temp they were reading was "out of range" to allow firing. Unless I got a G7 for free.... but even then I'd prolly sell it, buy a Speed, a Halo for my Angel and pocket the extra $$$.Comment

The only reason the drive cones bust is because people use their halos so much that they cant take the stress. Maybe if the eggs didnt explode when you opened the packaging then they would get a chance to actually get wear and tear, like a halo does.Comment

Halo-B with the cheetah board (From TAG) is the best hoppper imho.
eggs are made too cheaply
ricochets are even worse (except maybe the apache, only one I havent used)
I had a friend with empire-b but he upgraded it to halo, it is more reliable, and easier to use
