There's an article inthe latest Business Week about legislation heading through Congress to fight "patent trolls", or companies that patent technologies only to force other companies to pay liscencing agreements. I thought it might have some impact on SP and their business modle. The bill was introduced by a Republican from Texas (can't remember his name). Big companies like Microsoft are backing it.
