It certainly is what it is: electronic vert frame, dual breakbeam, Xvalved, ULE mag.

Custom is always going to take time. The wait was frustrating. But I'm happy with what I ended up with.

I'm asking does it live up to the hype... that is what I'm asking. I'd expect it to perform like any other electro mag but obviously it would have it's differences. So in your opinion... was it worth the wait?

Well, yes. It feels as fast as anything else out there, and its bulletproof. I really have a hard time with claims that X is "faster" than Y comparisons. So, given the sturdy build, consistency, rarity, and being back in the mag family: I'm pretty pleased.

SCPOLORICKER, How did the level 7 perform, any breaks. Did you use any different modes? How easy is it to change modes. Is there a default mode, so you can go back to original settings?

LVL 7 seems to work just fine. I've been having hopper issues, and have chopped a few balls.

I haven't played with any of the settings yet... although OMFGBBQ mode is likely to get tested sometime soon.

It shouldn't with the quality of eyes that TAG uses on the predator.

The x-mag stopped being made because they weren't selling. It started to cost more to make them then they were selling for. So AGD, doing what any smart business would have done, stopped production.

Incorrect, they sold everyone they made, the backorder list was usually at least 2-3 months deep, even 6 months at couple points. The reason it was discontinued was two-fold... 1) it was very costly to produce one as the bodies were manufactured in the UK and shipped to the US (which added to the overall manufacture time so they were made in batches as parts were received), and 2) the SP lawsuits and how the face of PB was changing, Tom wanted to wait it out and see what happened.

It shouldn't with the quality of eyes that TAG uses on the predator.

does the predator have a "forced" mode.. otherwise the bolt is just "delayed"
even in a forced mode, most boards have a point where they "default" back to the delay.

just because a gun has "eyes" doesnt mean it wont chop.

Yeah, I knew that mentioning it chopped would raise concerns...

It was older paint, probably a month and a half old RP Premium. My Halo ran out of batteries, went to my back up egg... nada (battery clips, I think). Went to "shake and shoot" with the eyes off midgame, which is when I had several chops. Went back to the car, pulled the old Apache out, back on the field.

At this point, I think the eyes had been covered with paint, as the marker would fire with no paint. I've cleaned it, and it seems to be back up just fine. Figure on playing with the trigger this weekend.
