Who do you mail order from?

I wanted to start this thread to see who everyone else mail orders your basic stuff from, ie hoppers, gloves, tanks, that sort of thing. I have had several very aggravating experiences lately and I want to see if anyone else has any gripes or kudos to give out.

    Here is my list

    Gripes:

Paid mucho extra for shipping so it would arrive by the weekend, still haden't shipped by the next day. I called to see if I could pay more for next day shipping, and the "witch" on the phone said it had already shipped out - at 10 o'clock in the morning. I work for a mail order company myself and no one who ships any volume closes and ships packages in the morning, so I think she was lying to me so she didn't have to do any work.

I have ordered several times from this company and every time it has been extremely difficult. Everything out of stock, no communication with the warehouse, etc. They are local here, so I tried to give them a chance, but no luck.

    Kudos:

Apparel at ActionVillage.com. Clothing, shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, shorts, hats, watches and more at ActionVillage.com. Largest selection of skateboard products online.

Their website has active stock status indicators, so you know whats in stock. The things I ordered came in faster than expected and were exactly what i ordered.

Had what I needed in stock and there was a problem with my credit card, so instead of delaying it a day, they CALLED ME (take the hint all you other distributers) to sort out the problem.

Anyway, I just want to see who others are using to mail order from and how your experiences have gone!

Pretty good selection, fast shipping, items what you ordered. Mike is a great guy.

The ONE time I've bothered to order from actionvillage/paintballgear.com was a pain in the ***. A couple of items were out of stock, so I had to cancel those. Shipping took forever. My macroline was messed up, I called them, they sent out a foot of microline. Called again and finally got some macro. The only thing I can give them credit for is their selection.

I agree with Warped - 95% of my stuff comes from the local shop and I get much better service and prices than anywhere else. But.. for the rest of the stuff I order PunishersPB is the place to go.

Bad idea. Not because they're bad, because they're not. But you always get higher prices when you order direct from the manufacturer.
