Some random thoughts and rambelings. My brain is fried this week.....
*Ever notice... that no matter how early you get to the field... you never can seem to get ready in time?
*The bigger your toolbox is, the more 'friends' you meet at the field?
*and no matter how big that toolbox is... it always seems to be missing that one part you need that if you dont get your day is over? I now carry a complete replacement shell and doors for my Halo
*People are always excited and anxious to come out to play. Then you say the one word that kills that quicker than wedding cake kills a womans sex drive :PRE-REGISTER
*Shooting a mag with a Warpfeed gets you LOTS of attention. Im still not sure if any of it is good though....
*Always respect that old guy shooting a right-feed cocker with the slide frame.
*FEAR that same old guy when he discovers e-blades.
*Speaking of cockers, has anyone else noticed that their re-sale value has gone straight down the toilet? I think of just about every other marker too.... Can you say "Market-Saturation"?
*I never paid attention to this until I started reading all of the 'debate' threads.. but I definately noticed lots of players shooting mechs at the field that were having great days.
*"kills" are not as satisfying as they were when I played with a pump.....
*I saw a group of kids hanging around the chrono station with their ramping Shockers... seeing who could shoot the fastest. They had some kind of "Advantage board" or soemthing. It was definately impressive to see those guys go through paint like that. I always love technology. I wonder where those guys work to be able to pay for that? Maybe I should get a paper route or something too.....
*There are TONS more upgrades for mags now than there ever was during there "Hey-Day" I remember when you where hot-stuff when you had a 45 frame. I'll take a Chimera frame and Dallara body over a Benchmark and stainless powerfeed anyday. And does anybody really miss lvl7 anyway?
*When I think about it... its really amazing how many of us still shoot emags.. considering they came out about the same time as LCD Angels. I think Tom put those little yellow on/off pins in the emag to give it the same 'high-end' feel as the Angel LCD with those stupid yellow tabs. Only difference is that the following year, the Angels all came with an On/off switch.
*I would love nothing more than to lock the AGD, TAG and AKA engineers in a room with a pencil and paper and not let them out for like 3 weeks.
