Should I worry about my White Wolf Airsmithing order?

I ordered 4 tanks, a 22/3000, a 13/3000 and two 3.5 oz co2 tanks in dust black around mid-April. He said about a month to get them. In June I saw all of them available on his website but mine had not arrived so I wrote to him. In early July I got all but the 22/3000, and he noted on the shipping comments that it was delayed. I have some questions about the 13/3000 and I would like to know "what's up" with the 22/3000, but he hasn't answered any emails unless they involve ordering something or sending him money.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Don't sweat it, WW is a good fellow, he's not going to run off with your money.

Those 22/3k tanks are very popular, it is very possible that he just didn't have enough anodized to fill his orders (I've had that happen before ).

Hang in there, the guy does excellent work.

I dunno... a friend of mine is still waiting for his '99 Cocker pump kit he bought back in September or October of last year when WWA still had them in stock.

On the other hand, I ordered my ULE Custom from him and had it in hand by the end of the week so *shrug*

Either way, I've had good experiences with him answering my e-mails and stuff. My friend who ordered the pump kit however, well... he gave up trying to get a hold of WW after 3 months of e-mailing him weekly and getting nothing back.

I bought my EMAG from him and he overnited it to me at no charge. I have also ordered something and paid for it on pay pal and he had refunded my money buy the next morning because he could not fill the order. I think you will be okay.
Make sure you use his AOL email address.

                  kind of off topic but

are those 13/3000 HPA? Stupid Question, I know. And how many shots could a mag get from one of those? A Phantom can get about 250 or so.

Joe may have misplaced your buddies order. I'd just send a reminder. people like me keep joe swamped with orders. I have always had good service from WW but everyone knows sometime it takes a while. Joe's a one man show.

This sounds like standard fare for Joe. As every custom outfitter has stated before, any emails asking "is it done yet?" go straight to the trash can. I'll echo the sentiments of everyone else in this thread, he hasn't taken your money and fled to Cozumel, he likely just doesn't have the tanks in stock. He's extremely timely with what he has in stock; custom orders, on the other hand, take time. Whether it takes 6 weeks or 6 months, if you ordered from WWA, the end product will have been worth the wait.

Be patient, you'll eventually receive your tank.

I have placed only one order with WWA and have received my order, eventually. Good guy or not, due to the poor customer service however I could not see placing another order or giving my recommendation to anyone who asked. I would recommend he keep his site updated and get orginized better, he could really have a superb business then.

                          thanks

He does have good support from a small group of followers here on AO. Can you see why I would be concerned?: I custom-ordered the 22/3000 tank in dust black (in April), then a few months later they were available on the website, but when I get my "custom" order there are no more 22/3000 tanks left for me...

I guess I just don't feel comfortable ordering a $450 Phantom from him.

Also, the 3 tanks I did get were shipped in an envelope (yes, that's right) with no padding. The tanks were banging together from California to New York. Luckily they are dust black and the scratches on the brand-new anno job don't show up too bad.

yep, sounds like the same ol' whitewolf to me. you'd think he would start being more punctual and customer friendly after some multiple post about it.

That did bother me a bit about WWA also, he boasted on his web site about the bad complaints and that his business had an increase in sales. It makes you wonder where his head is. Doesn't seem to appreciate the customers much.
