Accuracy other than the barrel and paint match?

I thought of this for a while.. and it seems kind of obvious to me. Everyone says "Its the paint and barrel match", but I have another "factor" to add to that.

Thats an impulse diagram as you can see. :)

As you can see.. the air is entered through the bottom of the bolt. But.. if you think about it, the air is not going to go straight at the ball, so its going to end up similar to this-

The ball for sure would not get hit with even pressure, since its coming up at an angle and then going straight at such a high speed. I know this is kind of obvious.. but everyone says its just paint and barrel match, but there are so many factors.

    Conclusion:
Guns of this form may not be as accurate as automags, shockers, ions.. etc. because of this reason. I may be wrong.. but I still think this is kind of an obvious thing to see.

    Heres a shocker diagram-

    Notice the even-ness. :)

Not to good of an automag diagram, but still it shows how the air flow would be straight. Thank you AGD/Tom Kaye for making a very smart design!!

You have to think more along the lines of fluid mechanics (and yes, air is considered a fluid). It's going to fill up any space it's put into. Not just hit the top and leave a vacuum underneath (a bit dramatic but you get the point).

Secondly, that bolt is using a 90 degree angle. VERY FEW, if any use a 90. Almost all use a ramped/sloped design.

Even that doesn't matter. The object is to push the ball through a guide(the barrel). The guide is what matters, It needs to fit a paintball on 2-3 contact points guide the shot.

all that matters is that the same thing happens every time no matter where the air goes
