I don't care if someone doesn't like the gun, but it pisses me off the amount of ignorance in this forum.Originally posted by poolshark5226Reguardless of whether or not that's his belief, he never said that mags are better than timmies, just that Bob Long repackages the same marker over and over, which you yourself admit is essentially true. Of course what's to stop him, if theyre profitable then why not do it?
You say you hate AO because people like Big Evil say everything that isnt AGD sucks. In fact, whenever I go into a new marker thread on AO and someone says that they dont like it, the supporters start screaming that (insert nay-sayer here) is a mindless AGD fanboy--reguardless of whether or not said nay-sayer even mentioned AGD in the post.
EXTRA, EXTRA: It is possible for someone to just not like how your marker looks, and not care who it's made by.
If you like the gun? Great... if you don't like it? Great. But don't throw in little comments to bash a company that is succeeding in paintball, unlike AGD.My Feedback

neat.
im betting tho, like all timmys, that thing feels like a toy. no because of the build quality, but of the god awful grips.
i have held my share of gripless timmys and they do feel a lot better IMHO.
Not to mention thos contrac killer grips. guh, shift-o-ramma. The look pretty, but i dont think ergonomics is what they had in mind when they made em.

Hehe, I know what you're saying, the 05 Bob Long Grips are a lot simpler and a lot less extensive, they feel pretty good, although I'd prefer some hogue rubber panels :)Originally posted by Carbonneat.

Man, I do NOT like the way those look, milling or shape. They're going in the wrong direction... Alias and Lasoya are the best looking by far IMHO.
But one-piece drilled? Oh hell yeah... I didn't know about that. That's really cool. Any other timmies planning to be made like that?Last edited by FSU_Paintball; 07-28-2005, 10:46 PM.Comment

[QUOTE=BigEvil] plus they were out before the ULE body, so they were the first mag to use cocker barrels, and normal ball detents.QUOTE]
Actually uh.
The Shocktech Mags were the First to have cocker threads. Possibly the PTP ones. I'm unsure.Comment

I dont understand why there is this mob of ppl in the paintball world and abroad that just argue with everything. Finally one stops arguing and another pics up where he left off.
Leave the guys thread alone guys. If you dont like timmys then fine, stop advertising it everytime a timmy is mentioned. This thread should have nothing to do w/ AGD or mags, I mean....look at the title. That COULDNT pertain to mags
Timmys havent felt like toys to me. IMO the reg, and trigger frame are too close together. I kinda prefer a gun w/ a bit longer grip spread. I like timmys though. Never owned one, but played w/ them on numerous occasions. I guess little differences are more noticeble when you switch from using a viking mainly, and use a timmy for a few games. If I owned a timmy and used it all the time, Im sure it would feel natural quickly.Comment

Well, when you post up "hottest gun ever" you better be wearing your fireproof pajamas..
I think the milling on it is awesome, and I'm glad to hear is milled from a solid piece rather than from an extrusion. Not really my cup of tea, but still very nice. Lets hope Bob Long fixed the quality issues.Comment

I'm not sure what the quality issues are, I've had 4 Intimidators (I have 3 right now) and none of them have given my problems. I take care of them, and they always work. When I had my second Intimidator I bought several other guns to compare and nothing beat out the Timmy, everything felt the same and when I'm playing I'm never going to notice the differance. The Intimidator had the best price/perfomance out of all of them. I'm not surpised at all that they are so popular. However, I can see why people get the idea that they are cheap with all the stupid people that own them. I cringe when I see what people don't know about their markers. I wonder how many people have used regular gun oil with theirs? I'll bet it's a lot. Some people don't even know how to get to the eyes.
More on topic, I've always thought the Dragon bodies looked odd on the 05 frames. They should come with the Alias style frame, those are supposed to be the more expensive frames.Comment

ok, they look nice, i bet they shoot nice, heck, they are even light, but what happened to the good old days where everyone got cockers, and blowbacks, and angels dominated. Ok, so maybe they werent good, but they were AGD days....
Im actually surprised that MadPSIence hasnt jumped in here to moan and complain about something he has no idea about. And as for yakitori, this is the first time he's not flaming something, other than ppl flaming. Ever notice that no matter what side he takes, his posts always seem wrong and bigotous?
nice milling though. Id like to hold it, wanna ship it to me?
I promise in a couple of years, ill ship it back
I will be the first to straight out say Congratulations on your new gun, Blazestorm, and to quote the good preacher lil jon, "Only B!tches talk ****" Its your gun, if you like it, thats all that should matter.
SIDENOTE: Please dont ban me for this, im just trying to get a point across. Tahtah for now, i'm banned fo sho!!!!

That gun is really friggen sweet, and yes I'm one of the only other people to hold it to. Has to be the lightest gun I've ever held, or at least the most well balanced. I swear, the first time I picked it up it felt like a feather. I don't care what others have said the dragon has to be one of the smoothest shooting timmy's I've shot and also who the heck cares if Bob has repackaged the same the gun over and over, obviously that design has continued to work throughout the years and is actually still successful. I'm sorry, I used to shoot AGD guns exclusively for the past 5 years but not after I picked up a timmy.
Oh, and if Bob is being accused with just coming out with new cosmetic designs and no real performance gains then what about RougueFactor, eh????Good Traders:JoeyJoe367, Blazestorm213, RetardedRiceBowl, rsadich,PaInTbALL zAcH, jwyke. John Dresser, Xas, Darrikws, whydoineedausername
